The Beers and Burpees partner workout has 5 divisions and 2-person teams can be M/M, M/F or F/F:  

  • Regular and Teen

    • Standard or Scaled Workout Options (see below)

    • Beer is optional and no judging

  • Competitive

    • Must do STANDARD Workout (see below) BUT *** instead of slam ball thrusters, they do pull-ups***

    • Beer is required

    • Must meet all exercise standards/requirements/range of motion

    • Includes a judge and eligibility for Top Prizes

  • Adaptive Athletes (2:20pm heat)

    • Our event will provide FREE registration to any adaptive adult or kid in recognition of the fact that these athletes have medical situations that may cause financial hardships

The workout - Standard / Competitive:

All exercises and drinking (optional for standard, required for competitive) can be split any way between the two partners, except for the 500m run which both partners have to complete each round.  All slam balls are 20 lbs for all teams. Only 1 person per team can be working out at a time.  If drinking, each team will be given 3 cans of beers (36 oz), those 3 beers will be divided up equally in 4 Cups and drank at 4 different times during the workout. 

*** Note - for Male/Male and Male/Female teams (for both Competitive and Standard divisions), for each of the 3 runs, the team will run WITH their slam ball ***

1st round of Workout:  500m run, 25 Slam Balls, 25 Burpees, 25 Lunges holding the slam ball, and 25 Slam Ball Thrusters (or Pull-Ups for Competitive Division)***
